About

About

About the Chamber The LatSA Chamber of Commerce and Industry was founded in 2026 by Pierre Calitz, a South African entrepreneur and business leader based in Polokwane, Limpopo. Pierre serves as Director of Bet-Shalom Christian School and founder of House of Calitz Hospitality Group. His work across education, hospitality, and technology led him to identify a significant gap, South Africa had no dedicated institutional bridge to Latvia, one of the European Union's most resilient and fast-growing member states. LatSA Chamber was established to fill that gap. We exist to connect South African and Latvian businesses, facilitate bilateral trade and investment, and build the institutional infrastructure that makes the Latvia–South Africa corridor accessible, credible, and sustainable. Latvia is an EU member state with zero tariffs to South Africa under the SA-EU TDCA. Its economy grew 5.4% in 2025. Latvian entrepreneurs are actively seeking African partnerships. The corridor is real and LatSA Chamber is the bridge. President: Pierre Calitz Email: president@latsachamber.co.za
